Get Started: TZ+ Marketing Group

There are 6 key steps to getting started. Each of these steps takes you from preparing what you need to join, how to join, what you must understand as a member, and then to how to begin participating.

We understand this is a lot of information but it is 100% required that you follow our sign up steps exactly as they are explained below. Some members had to be excused out of this group because this was “a lot of work” and that is perfectly understandable.

What we are looking for in this group is to have a highly focused group of dedicated agents that stay committed to our group goals and procedures.

So whether there are 50 or 500 members left in our group, it doesn’t matter. The key to our success is in having a focused group of members that all understand the true value our online presences will attain from following our guidelines.

After you have gone through all 6 steps below then you can begin to make requests for the group to help promote your material. If this is to much work for you then unfortunately you will miss out on being a part of our group because all members must do this.

Step 1: Sign Up For All The Following Networks

Most of these are simple to sign up. You just go to the website and fill in the details of their sign up steps as they ask. However, for a few of them it may not be so straight forward. So there are video tutorials showing you how to sign up for them and get them properly set.

Step 2: Join The TZ+ Marketing Group

  1. The first step is to Friend request Josh Galvan’s Facebook. This enables you to be added into our private group.
  2. Sign up for a free account on Tizish so that you can get access to our private marketing group tutorials.
*Existing Tizish members can skip this step. You already have access.

Step 3: Learn Our Posting and Promoting Guidelines

Watch both of these video tutorials to see exactly how you have to make requests of other members to promote your work and what you have to do when you help a member with their promotion requests.

  1. How You Must Make Promotion Requests
  2. How You Must Make It Known You Helped A Member With Their Request

Step 4: Learn The Steps Needed To Help Promote Members Material

In order to be a member you must know how to actually help a fellow group member when they ask for something specifically. So this is a list of tutorials showing you how to simply do each of the following if/when a member requests it.

Step 5: Get Started

At this point you are all ready to get started with engaging. But before you can just begin jumping in and requesting help for material, you must first GIVE support in kind as all existing members have already done for each other (hey, it’s the only fair thing to do).

So to keep it simple, follow these steps in the exact order they appear once you join our group to properly get your work promoted while also being fair and promoting the presence of others.

The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th actions listed here don’t have to be done in chronological order. They are likely to be done simultaneously. The key is to just get them done though.

1) First Action

Introduce yourself and post all of the details of your online presence so that we can put them in our member directory and so that members can begin promoting your presence. The items you need to post are the following.

Here is the tutorial for doing this step easily too.

  • Name
  • Email
  • Website
  • Facebook Page
  • Facebook Personal
  • Twitter
  • Youtube
  • Google+
  • LinkedIn
  • Be sure to introduce yourself too! Tell us who you are and where you’re from.

2) Second Action

Go to our member directory and first and foremost do the following for each member (tutorials for each if needed).

3) Third Action

Go to our member directory and do the following for each of the members (tutorials for each if needed).

4) Fourth Action

Start making requests for members to promote your material. But in the same time be sure to complete the items above and follow the participation code of conduct below.

Step 6: Learn Our Participation Code Of Conduct

It is understandable that as a single member of a group of 50+, you will not be able to help every member with the requests they make. However, in a realistic sense, you can still take time each day to help others as they are doing for you.

Also, in order to keep the group flowing in an organized manner, we have to follow procedures for making and servicing requests for members. As you can tell, ‘order’ is the most important part of keeping this group intact.

Get acquainted with all of these rules and procedures. If you don’t follow these while participating then you will be reminded so that we keep our flow moving, if you still do not follow our group guidelines after many reminders then you will have to be excused out.

We understand there is a learning curve with some of the items outlined below so there is of course some wiggle room with these rules. But this is just in the beginning of your membership. It will be expected that you get these down after a while.

  1. You can only request 1 specific piece of your material be promoted by members per day. However, you can request multiple items be promoted for this one piece of material. (Ex: You wrote a blog post. You then ask members to +1 it on Google, StumbleUpon it, and Tweet or Like on FB).
  2. You must help other members with their requests 3-5 times a week. Meaning, at least 3-5 days a week you visit our group page and help others with their requests.
  3. You cannot make multiple requests per day for different pieces of content/material. Only multiple requests for the same piece of content/material on the same status update can be done per day. See above.
  4. If you are requesting promotion for your material 1 time a day then you must also be reciprocating your efforts by helping other members everyday as well.
  5. Requests for member promoting should be on newly published material. It cannot be on older archived material. There will be overlap of course, but to best help your content (due to the nature of Search/Social Media) it is better to promote your work with newly published material.
  6. You must help promote members material in all networks overall. This doesn’t mean you have to use every network to promote members material each time. This simply means that you must diversify your assistance so that you can give value across all places. This means you can’t just ‘like’ peoples FB posts and expect to be considered a full member when there are all the other areas referenced below that are equally important.
  7. You must hit the Like button and/or comment on the members posting who requested help that you in turn assisted.

There will be oversight. In order to keep the integrity of our group we will manage who is participating and who isn’t. Both in terms of helping others and making requests. Those not following our procedures will be informed and given time to get adjusted. If no change is made then the member will be removed from our group.
